Milana

 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress, is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. After immigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as a child actor. Her fame was boosted by her roles in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until in 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she appeared in. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being featured in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also a Jew. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. The financial struggles of her family led to her acting in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub attended Beverly Hills High School briefly and then dropped out after her second year. She later obtained a GED, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication at University of California, San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned the art of improv comedy.
