Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975) is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous honors which include an Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She belongs to the Barrymore family, and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor when she was a kid and gained fame with her role as E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. The Extra-Terrestrial was the result of a highly publicized early childhood characterized by drug and alcohol addiction, she wrote her autobiography Little Girl Lost. In the 1990s she was in a variety of films including Poison, Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore was a co-star with Adam Sandler on a few films including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore became a star as an actor in her child years with her part in E.T.
